How to Make Guys Stop Throwing Things Down Your Shirt

So earlier this year in January, I was at a movie with my boyfriend of three months--the movie was "The Green Hornet" and it's terrible never ever see it. There we were waiting for the movie to start, I--being my innocent self--was sitting there so harmlessly, daintly nibbling on my popcorn when Chris rudely and maliciously tosses a piece right down my shirt. So being the lady-like female that I am, I dug it out of my shirt and ate it looking completely unphased. Then exercising the first, most equal retaliation that I could think up, took a wad of that salty, buttery goodness and shoved it straight up his nose.
Needless to say, he was quite horrified by my action. Such that he could not speak for a minute or two. When he recovered, he stared me in the eye--popcorn hanging from his nose--and said, "I cannot believe... you just did that."
I smiled innocently, "Don't throw popcorn down my shirt."

Let's just say he never did that again. Then again... we did break up three days later... Correlation? Possibly.

...CHOCOLATE!!!! & men suck

Ok, so yesterday I spontaneously felt like eating M&M's that I have in the fridge (six jumbo bags to be exact) (wait- no! I didn't eat all of them! I don't plan to either, they're for a YSA activity this Saturday and they're just sitting there. Torturing me..) and I found out that M&M's are seriously like crack for my brain! I ran around my house like a 5-year-old on an entire supply of Halloween candy. In hindsight, it must have been very scary to watch.

Insight into my Brain

If you ask anybody who knows me well if I am an impulsive person, they will laugh and probably say something like, "Yes! This one time.." or "Yeah, she random reaches over and grabs my face." But they will probably never tell you about a destructively impulsive moment and that would be because I have amazing self-control. The truth is I have random, mischievous impulsive ideas constantly. For example, on Wednesday my friend Sesa and I planned a surprise going away party at BJ's for our friend Analise who is moving on Saturday. Each one of us had a personal pizza sitting on (OH! I just totally had an urge to flick the busdriver in the back of his head!) a little stand in front of us and a rather large spatula sitting in it. We were all talking and suddenly I stopped and turned to my friend next to me and said, "Karrie, I just got the random urge to catapult that tomato across the room." Then a few weeks ago at swing dancing, I was standing behind this really fat Mexican dude and after several long, torturous minutes I finally texted my sister and said, "There's this really fat Mexican dude standing in front of me and he has GIANT fat rolls on the back of his head and I want to poke it SO BAD!"
Some how I am able to control myself but it's easier said than done... so watch out :)

...no burrito??

So, my roommate from Tucson totally got me addicted to Chipotle and I'm cheap and poor so I try not to buy them too often. But as of today it's been two weeks so I figured it's been long enough :) So, I've been completely psyched this whole week about my plans to get a Chipotle Chicken Burrito today when I finally got back from Tempe since there's one two miles north of Poly. I drove there thinking that today is going to be the most amazing day of my life and when I get there I find out that I have $2 and no debit card. I wanted to cry.. (not really, it was hunger pains). So, after driving home very disappointed, I ate a chicken roll and some orange sherbet (not together, of course) and watched CSI, then I felt better. :)

Fingerpainting isn't just for 5-year-olds

Yes, it's sad but I am the only 19-year-old that I know that still stick my hands in paint and smears them all over paper and isn't embarrassed about it. Actually, I'm proud of it. I regularly paint with acrylics on canvas and I love it. Recently, I have been working on an ocean scene which, as I get farther along, will eventually have a cute little lighthouse in it. :)

The Honest Scrap

10 Honest Things About Me, Mik, because I was tagged by the lovely Whit.

1. I just transferred from U of A to ASU and moved back in with my parents.

2. I miss having a job, because I hate spending money without having an income.

3. I'm majoring in Secondary Education, and I am incredibly excited to be an English teacher some day :)

4. If I could, I would spend all of my time painting, drawing, and reading. I feel like I learn a lot about myself when I am creating something.

5. I love dried fruit! :) Especially mangoes, pears, and raisins.

6. I love being outside, especially in the mountains.

7. I now share my room with my little sister Rachel (my mini-me) and it's a blast because we have so much fun together!

8. I am currently reworking a story that I have been writing since 7th grade and I think it's finally working out.

9. I love watching movies! Especially action and comedies :)

10. I hate watching TV unless I feel like it actually does me some good. I do like CSI: Las Vegas, Cold Case, Forensic Files, and occasionally Discovery Channel. (Especially crime shows!)

I'm a traitor and PROUD of it :)

Basically, U of A sucks because they got rid of their Secondary Education program... yeah, I'm mad =P Because I love it here but I don't want to have to do even more schooling after college when I could just transfer to ASU and do it all in 4 years (considering that's what my tuition waiver covers). So basically I'm leaving to go to our rival school, but you know what?? I don't care! ASU is apparently better because they don't say, 'Screw you, future-high-school-teachers!' Plus, I'm very excited to be living with my family again soon! :)
